Cable Tv Booster
The question was asked”How do I build my own cable-TV amplifier without actually having to buy a pre-constructed one?
I’m well aware that I can go spend up to $50 on a cable-tv amplifier that plugs into the electricity and boosts the incoming signal, but given I’m sure I have the capacity to build my own and all the necessities to do such, I’d rather just create one. I can’t find any blueprints online anywhere for what the inside of a standard booster actually looks like, where the use of the electricity actually comes into play. Any help out there on building one? Thanks in advance.
An amplifier needs electricity from an outside source to make more signal. There are ways to feed the power for an amplifier on the coax, but that is not what you are asking.
Really, you are just as well off buying an amplifier, unless you understand RF engineering and electronics construction principals.
” Hope that helps!
