What is the best flat screen TV in your opinion to purchase for around $6-$7 hundred dollars?

I would like something that is at least 47′in. or 50′ in. We are going to buy a Wii to play on this T.V. What is the best TV in your opinion for Wii and everyday viewing of TV programs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would really like to stay in the price bracket of $6-$7 hundred dollars. Thank you.
