The question is “How can I play audio without a video connection on a Dynex LCD TV?
I have a DXLCD32, and I want to run only audio through one of the component inputs. When I tried to do this, it wouldn’t play the audio. I found out that the audio would play only when there was also video connected to the same component input. So, how can I play the audio without having to have video connected too?
Component cables (Red, green , blue) con’t carry audio. Composite cables ( red, white, yellow) carry audio on the red and white cables and video on the yellow cable. All you need for sound is the red and white cables.
