How do I remove the lens from a Philips spc900nc web cam?
I can unscrew the ring to a certain position, but after that it doesn’t want to budge any further. I can’t see any obvious places to position a screwdriver to prise anything out. I’m hesitant to try anything too drastic without advice as otherwise I might damage the webcam! Many thanks in advance!
In most webcams, you would need to disassemble the housing. Once the actual pc cam board is out, you should then be able to unscrew the lens all the way out. Dont know why you would want to tho unless you are experimenting….Dont try to pry the lens out tho because you will rip the camera chip right off the board!
