Refurbished just means that it was previously sold to someone, it quit working properly so the company replaced some of the parts to get it working again, and then are reselling it. It should have the same features as a new tv of the same model.

The question is “I have and insignia TV that uses code 10463, for my comcast remote what is the code so i can change my input?

I want to be able to jump to HDMI and sso on without having to change remotes and my input (tv/vcr) button does not work when i press it

The Comcast remote, once programmed, will allow you to control your TV’s volume, power and Input. Check to make sure that you can control the volume. If you can, then the remote is programmed and you will be able to change the input with it.
All you need to do now is change your remote to TV mode by pressing the TV button at the top. (That’s probably why it doesn’t work right now) Then press the Input (TV/VCR)button on the remote. So that the TV button, followed by TV/VCR. That will change the input. You should only need the one code to do all of this.
Don’t forget to switch back to cable mode once you’re done. Press the CABLE button at the top to do that.
